“I started a STAR group at KCL after the National Office got me in touch with another London group who wanted to expand their project in South West London… It was a hugely rewarding volunteering experience. Apart from the volunteering, we organised talks and fundraising events on campus. I would really recommend starting/joining a STAR group and getting involved with an existing local project – there’s so much you can do to help.”
