“As a fresher I came to my first STAR meeting and sat and watched, a few weeks later I was organising publicity for a sleep-out, in the second year I helped members join with three volunteering projects and on graduating I had worked with charities in the local community and abroad. That is what STAR is about, students themselves achieving great things for refugees and our communities in the UK.”
