Accommodation bursaries for refugee students

UNIAID, the student finance charity, has launched a scheme which provides free accommodation to students who are experiencing financial hardship.

What is it?

The bursaries are for students who are at risk of having to leave university because of extreme hardship. They provide specifically allocated accommodation places for an academic year.

Who is it for?

This scheme is for you if you are:

  • a student in full-time undergraduate study
  • experiencing financial hardship
  • have indefinite leave to remain in the UK or are a UK or EU national
  • at university in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Plymouth or Sheffield.

How do I get a bursary?
