If you’re starting university this Autumn or looking for a new society to get involved with, then find out about how to join STAR at Freshers 2010.

- promote positive images of refugees to fellow students
- volunteer with refugees and asylum seekers locally
- get involved in national campaigns to create a more humane asylum system
If you’re a new student on your way to university in a couple of weeks then…
1. Find out if there is a STAR group at your university
Use our interactive Online Map. Click on a star to see what they do and join them on Facebook.
If there is already a STAR society at your university then try to find them at your Freshers Fair – look out for the STAR logo and our beautiful materials!
If you can’t find them please Contact STAR national
What? No group at your Uni?! Then you can start to build your own!

STAR National sends regular updates with info on national training and conferences, campaign actions, updates on what STAR groups are doing and important news on asylum and refugees.
