STAR needs Student Trustees!
Want to help STAR? Interested in using your skills to run a national charity? STAR is looking for student members to join the Board of Trustees! Apply by 30th April.
Join STAR’s Board of Trustees
STAR is looking for at least 2 members to join the Board of Trustees.
We need student members to help STAR make the best decisions for students and refugees. Students bring the knowledge and understanding necessary to make STAR more effective in supporting refugees. STAR is a membership organisation and this is an important way of ensuring we remain member-led!
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in planning and finances, as well as learn from professionals with experience of managing a national charity.
The role of Student Trustee is…
- for active STAR group members
- a one-year commitment
- voluntary (unpaid but expenses paid)
