STAR Committee Training 2009 - 20th June
STAR is holding a FREE training day for group leaders to gain skills in running student groups, raising awareness, volunteering and campaigning. If you’re running a STAR group in 2009-10 then this event is for you!

When: 10:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday, 20th June 2009
Where: The Resource Centre, Islington, London
In just one day you’ll get to…
- Meet other STARs from all over the UK
- Find out more about the STAR network and other groups
- Get advice on running an effective student group
- Develop your campaigning, awareness-raising and volunteering skills
- Learn about how the national team can assist your group
Two fantastic guest speakers already confirmed:
Mike Kaye (Still Human Still Here) and Maurice Wren (Asylum Aid)
