Two exciting volunteering opportunities at STAR!
Here’s your chance to get recruiting and inspiring student activists to support refugees with two exciting volunteering opportunities at STAR!
STAR is looking two new interns to support us with the most important and exciting events of the STAR year, freshers’ week and our national conference!
Could one of these be the role you’ve been looking for?
Activist Recruitment Internship
This is your chance to get thousands of students across the UK to take action and make a difference to the lives of refugees! We need an enthusiastic individual who can help recruit and inspire new STAR student activists for the 2012-13 academic year.
In this exciting and varied role you will support the STAR team in preparing for the busy freshers’ period. You will get the opportunity to promote STAR across the UK by attending freshers’ fairs and presenting at STAR group meetings.
This is the key time for us to recruit more activists and strengthen our network so you can make a real difference to what STAR can achieve in 2012-13!
Events Internship
This is your chance to part of organising our inspirational national conference in London for students from all across the UK.
The annual Student Action for Refugees (STAR) conference is the only UK conference for students about refugees and is a fantastic opportunity for student activists to learn from experts in the field, share their ideas and experiences and find out how they can take action to make a difference locally and nationally.
Interested in either of these roles? Then get applying now!
